What do you need to develop an individual family tree?

You decide on the amount of information on your personal family tree. All we need is a concrete listing of your ideas and the desired dataset that you would like to incorporate into the painting. After we have received your data, we will make suggestions for the implementation of your wishes.

How can I send the required data for the family tree?

We would prefer to recieve your data via E-Mail (info@gallery-renard.com). We accept all common data formats (.pdf, .xlsx, .svg, .jpg, .png etc.). You can even feel free to make a picture of your handwritten notes.

How much does it cost to get a hand-painted artwork?

The remuneration of an artwork depends on different aspects. Two major issues are the choice of the technique and the amount of details. A reliable mark in case of family tree projects is the total amount of name plates. Some pricing examples are listed here.

How much time do I have to schedule for processing?

The lead time depends on the scope of the project. Smaller projects take 2-3 weeks to complete. Medium projects are between 1-2 months in the production time. Large projects can take a few months to get finished. In addition, there is always the delivery time of DHL, which can vary from country to country.

How will the parcel be shipped?

All pictures are rolled and sent with a packaging roll in an additional package.

How are the shipping costs?

Do I get a picture frame?

Unfortunately, we do not offer picture frames because we can not store so many different shapes and colors. In addition, there would be an immense risk of damage during shipping. We are happy to advise you on framing.

Are the pictures handmade or printed?

All our pictures are 100% fine handmade on canvas or special paper. We actually don’t sell any prints!

Where does my artwork come from?

In Germany we have a studio and work rooms in which the pictures are specially made by us. A small introduction is here

Who works on my picture?

The management as well as the operational responsibility lie with us, the spouses Ilka & Philipp Wegner. We and our qualified employees take care of your project down to the smallest detail.

What if I do not like the picture?

Which paper is used?

We do not use cheap printer paper but have a range of high quality, special drawing papers. The grammage is significantly higher and the surfaces are best suited for the respective drawing technique. This ensures the longevity of your artwork.
